I am an actor, director, teacher and theater administrator currently located in Connecticut.

BEFORE NOW...

I am a Vermont native and have been acting since I was twelve. After earning my degree from Connecticut College in theater studies and English literature, I decided to pursue my art in Santa Fe, NM. Santa Fe was amazing, and while I was becoming a strong yogi and white water rafter, I found myself wanting more in the way of acting training. I returned to Connecticut to attend the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. At NTI, I was taught by several working theater professionals and was instructed in myriad techniques and theater practices. When I completed my training, I then stayed on with NTI as a company intern and then became the O'Neill's housing coordinator for the summer professional season. This was a formative time that inundated me with the inner workings of a professional theater and gave me the boast that I needed to move to New York City.

In New York, I worked professionally with a different companies in different performances and positions. The most notable experience I had was with the Wooster Group, as one of their company interns. During this time I also started working remotely for NTI, as a recruiter for the program, and toured the country leading workshops and talks the pedagogy that can be found at the O'Neill.

By 2009, however, I decided that I needed to deepen my work and was accepted into the graduate acting class of 2013 at Northern Illinois University. At NIU I worked with the renowned Kathryn Gately, who rigorously instructed me in the Meisner technique and instilled a deep sense of commitment and majesty in acting that I apply to this work to this day.

After completing my MFA, I worked in Chicago and on tour with several different companies as a performer. I primarily worked with the Organic Theater Company as an actor in some of their top grossing shows. I have since decided to come home to the east coast and am excited to be back in both in NYC and Philadelphia. I have been pleased to add new shows, friends, and skills to my theatrical experience in both of these locations and am very happy to be with my loving wife always.
